Marketing Online effectively requires a combination of things to come together at the right time to ensure a modicum of success.

Many Marketers choose to form joint ventures with other online entities to promote their product or service.

We all know that joint ventures can be and often are very successful as it gives you exposure to a larger audience than you might otherwise have available to you.

But…The thing that concerns me the most is this; Often many joint venture partners have not personally tried and or used the product or service they are promoting yet they talk about it in glowing terms.

Some can’t even be bothered to rewrite the promo letter provided to them by the products creator.

I personally am turned off by these tactics and whilst I am a seasoned marketer and understand what is going on I wonder how many potential clients are frightened off as well?

Online business is no different to offline business, your credibility is very important and your longevity in the industry will be determined by how you manage yourself in front of your potential clients.

So why is it that so many marketers clearly with a good level of skill and knowledge damage their future by trying to ride the wave of the “next big thing”

Just my two cents for today!
